1. I work for a huge software company. I am a tiny cog in a pretty small wheel, and I mostly hate it, but it’s employment when a lot of others don’t (or can’t) have it, so I grin and bear it. Eventually something else will come along.
  3. I’m in the market for a desk and you would think it would be easy to find one, but WOW, it’s so not. I’m NOT putting one together, so I need to buy one that’s assembled. We’ll see how this goes tomorrow.
  4. I’m involved (by way of CC’s only - I haven’t contributed - yet) in an email chain that might be the stupidest argument of all time. The subject? Whether or not Blazing Saddles is better than Young Frankenstein. I mean, really. This is what some of my friends spend their days doing (with gifs as backup evidence, seriously).
  5. I’m still watching Alcatraz. It’s decent enough to keep me watching, so far.
  6. The last time I talked to my Dad, he had a Simpsons rerun on in the background. He’s 66 years old. It was the one where Mr. Burns gave them Señor Ixtaplaplquatl. I found that both delightful and strange.
  7. There’s an event coming up soon with some awesome people and I seriously cannot wait to see their faces.
